Become an Affiliate

NextEnergy Affiliates earn $700 for each referred customer who installs a solar system. Key aspects of the affiliate program include:

1. Affiliates provide NextEnergy with referral prospects and assist in the sales process:
• informs the prospect on the benefits of solar energy and NextEnergy
• conducts open houses to show a working solar system (if installed)
• acts as a reference account
• collects basic contact data and inputs data into an online form
2. Commissions are a flat $700 per contract.  $500 is paid when the contract is signed and $200 is paid once the solar system is installed.
3. Commissions are reported as 1099 income.
4. Affiliates receive an e-mail notification of the status of all their referrals in the sales pipeline anytime a new referral is added or the status of a referral changes.

Refer A Friend

The “Refer A Friend” program is available to anyone who provides a referral prospect to NextEnergy who subsequently installs a solar system. A Trader Joe’s $200 gift card is awarded at the time the system installation is completed.  You may submit as many referrals as you wish.

Join the Carbon Club

As a Carbon Club member, you accrue credits based on the amount of greenhouse gasses (carbon dioxide - CO₂, nitrogen oxide - NO, sulfur dioxide - SO₂) that you prevent by using solar power. The credits are calculated based on the number of kW of electricity you generate through your solar system over a period of time. You also receive a share of credits from the solar systems of any people you influenced to use solar energy.

1. Solar System Owner - 100%
2. Referral - 10%
3. Affiliate Referral - 25%

Carbon Club members also receive a complimentary copy of the Carbon Club Newsletter each month that contains a lot of useful information on ways to save energy as well as keeping you up-to-date on current events in the fight to combat global warming.

In the near future, NextEnergy will provide aggregation of Renewable Energy Credits (REC’s) of Carbon Club members so they can be traded on the CCX Exchange. Revenues earned from these credits will be refunded back to you as a cash dividend.
